Meat Beat Manifesto - Subliminal Sandwich

This album blew my mind back in the early-mid 90's. When "electronica" was blowing up with the likes of The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Underworld, and a host of other artists coming up with them. From the likes of Orbital, The Orb, Moby, 808 State, Fluke, Roni Size and Meat Beat Manifesto. MBM is Jack Dangers. To be honest, I've never touched the albums prior to this. I hear he used to do alot of dancefloor stuff, which was never for me anyway. This album however is the beginning (from what I know) of MBM starting to mess with ambient and weird shit. Lots of samples, field recordings, etc. There's still some hefty beats here, but you're probably not gonna be driven to dance. This is mind-fuck material you keep in your headphones. It's a 2-disc set too. Lots of skull-fuckery.

Enjoy!

EDIT: This is what Jack's been up to lately...
